Hummm, would spirituality (meditation, yoga), religion, culture and relaxation techniques (such as spa, masstherapy, etc...) blended up together be a good and unique topic? What I'm asking is how many people would join such a forum. And on what software should I start it up?

People will join a unique forum if you know where and how to advertise. It may take awhile to really get busy just because of the unique topic, but give it time. I've had sites about Zombies, Rats, Homemade Toys, and Zombies again and they all did very well. All ranked high in google because of the unique genre, and got a ton of hits.
Google is going to be your best friend here, as it may be hard to find places to advertise a unique genre forum... but just work on your SERP and people will come flying in 🙂
