A Place for users to vent?

I've recently added a "battle Floor" forum to my boards, do you think it would be a good idea?

Guests do not have access and also cannot reading any topics or view the posts. Do u think that is a good idea?


I was thinking about maybe it would help for the user to come back if they got into a deep/argument with someone! That is why I made it. Your thoughts?

Also, ofcourse no porn or illegal images may be posted, simply just words.

As long as members can't handle it and don't get into flame wars with each other, it should be fine. Just make sure your mods are watching that forum closely but don't over moderate either.

If people are that easily upset, are they really the type of person you want on your board? If they can't handle it, they should be smart enough to stay out of that section.

I am going to add a feature where they can hide the forum if they want also.

If you moderate it though it defeats the point of the board kinda.

I wouldn't allow it, tension builds between members and soon you'll find fights in the main forum's as members get used to fighting.
