After 13 years of running IndieComiX.net and some careful thought leading into 2026, I felt a change was needed and thusly...
IndieComiX is now Comics & Chill.

Same space, new name — and a quieter approach.

Over time, what started as a passion slowly picked up self given expectations: schedules, consistency, keeping up. Comics & Chill is me stepping back from that and returning to what mattered in the first place.

Reading comics because I enjoy them.
Writing when I actually have something to say.
Letting conversations wander. Allowing gaps.

This isn’t a feed or a schedule. It’s a place to settle in.

Where Comics Come To Unwind.
Pull up a chair. No rush.
 
I like the new name! I really like the theme you have installed, I did happen to come across a broken image on your "About Us" page though.

Thank you, that is appreciated! And are you referring to the lone comics and chill image there? I've also actually been using the Frontier theme for years and just did a little tweaking when I re-branded. No other theme's ever really appealed to me.
 
The new name will really draw more people in. The word "indie" is sometimes confusing so Comics & Chill is more obvious as to what the site is about.

I wish you all the best in the new project and hopefully, it turns out to become an active place again.

Yeah, I really hadn't thought it thru way back then. To be honest, I originally wanted to name it 'Awesome Sauce' bBut a friend suggested 'IndieComiX' and I thought it was a good idea. But when I think about the awesome sauce name now it probably wouldn't work that well either. Hopefully it will draw more people in! Tho part of that will factor how often I post and if I share anything to social media.

I also could see a broken image on your About page. I tried to disable my AdBlock to see if that was all it was, but now your site is giving me a 429 Too Many Requests error. 😛

Huh, that's a little weird. Not sure if there's something I can do about that. Here's the image that's supposed to be showing in the about area.colored-logo.webp
 
I'm going to chime in here and say that I also love the name you picked out. 🌸 Nice relaxing idea for a forum, wishing you the best of luck with it.
