This happened just the other night. A man entered the casino of Resorts World Manila. As per the police report, he was holding a small machine gun and a container of gasoline. He burned 2 gaming tables in the casino while shooting indiscriminately at the ceiling. While burning, the gunman shot the door of the vault and got some poker chips worth 113 million pesos. And then he entered one hotel room in that same building, burned the room and shot himself to death. The carnage killed 25 innocent people.

The puzzle is this. As per the police report, the gunman was alone and the motive is robbery, referring to the poker chips. What do you think really happened?

What is given to us in this thread for us to not believe what was stated isn't what actually happened? Sounds like a very troubled man who wasn't given the help he needed and instead decided to deal with his problems by doing damage to a casino, stealing poker chips and taking the lives of those who crossed his path while he was carving his path of carnage throughout that casino. A sad story all around I'd say.
