I would reccomend his books (The view from the mirror, The well of echoes and the song of the tears) there all fantasy and 500+ pages and his new books will be spectacular 😀
THEY ARE SPECTACULAR there the best books i have ever read i would reccomend you start at the view from the mirror then the well of echoes THEN the song of the tears and by the time you finish the fate of the children should of come out by then 😛
i havent read the original series so i will tell you what i know
Its a world where powers can be drawn from nodes these nodes produce power that can be mastered by people with a talent for the "art" it all begins when faellam of faellamor (on of the three worlds) who is the leader of her kind goes to aacham and steals the mirror of aacham (one of the most powerful objects ever) when she transfers it to her world through a portal she finds out it has been corrupting her world and takes it to santhenar (another of the three worlds where old human kind live) where it opens the void (space and time end here) the creatures lyrinx come out trying to take over the world of santhenar
and thanks to the heroes tiaan cryl-nish hlar malien yguur xervish flydd and irisis they manage to defeat them but it all goes wrong when a node explodes and gives jal-nish flar (god emperor) the ultimate power then tiaan accidentaly destroys all the nodes so that only the tears are the only power source for the art he then rules the world for 13 evil years killing off all the hero's locking his son cryl-nish hlar up in the mazurize prison he then escapes re-unites with the original heroes and finds a new hero in maelys.
its pretty big though 😛 and there the best books i have ever reada 😛
