Hello,
You have all had enough of make sure your password is safe guides because we all make sure our password is safe but when I was editing my account today I learnt of something you can do to make your account even more secure.
So okay pretend I am Bill and I want to make my account safe so I go to User CP>Profile>Account Settings. Then I can change my information from there so I make a secure password, lets pretend the password was BillWaSBorN1990xd so I enter that then I confirm it but before I save it I find a fantastic feature called Login Name meaning that I can keep my username as Bill but have a special username just for logging in so now I make that TheSaladEater. So then I save it and then to check if it works, I log out and attempt to log in as Username: Bill Password: BillWaSBorN1990xd and it doesn't work so I try Username:TheSaladEater Password: BillWaSBorN1990xd and I am logged in!
So if you follow the steps you'll make it a whole lot harder for hackers and I mean a lot harder. Make sure your login name doesn't have anything to do with you so pretend Bill didn't like football, he could make it ILoveFootball. Now save it somewhere and those hackers will have a extremely hard job hacking you. If you found this helpful please give me +Rep.
