Abortion

Aborting is one person choosing if something with a beating heart and fully functional brain has the right to live, so you should all agree, abortion is murdering something that lives. You can at least put them in an orphanage.

No, you don't decide what to do. It's her body, not yours.

there have been a few studies that recently came out about the after effects of abortion on the mother. 97% of them wished they never did it. 3% listed their choice as N/A and 0% of them said they made the correct choice. how's that for what she decides to do.

Never happened unless I see a link 🙂

I find that very offensive....i am a mother...if i feel that abortion is the best course of action i would do what is neccessary, based on the circumstances i have written.I am not a murderer.
People like you...are the only reason women HAVE to feel so much pain of that choice.
You find it offensive that I wish to include the husband in the choice? I don't know if you are married or have been married, but surely if he was your "true love" then you'd want him to help make the choice that will highly affect BOTH of your futures? The fact is, if you stop a beating heart in any other method, for any other reason, by law you are a murderer. Why is killing a pre-born child so different than killing a 32 year old man with no close family? :shrug:

Im sorry i really have to stop debating with you on this subject...you seem to have some sort of issue that i can not help you with. 🙂
Best wishes.
ps..it isnt a beating heart until a certain time in the pregnancy. It is two joined cells..

Bets wishes to you as well, and I truly hope you don't kill anyone in the coming years.

Edit: Even so, are you going to be one to deny the natural chance for it to occur? If you believe in a God then it happened for a reason, if you don't are you going to play God and stop birth?

---

Keeping the debate going:
Can someone explain to me how it's different? When you kill a 32 year old man with no close family (an "outcast" of society if you will) you get jail time. However when someone wants to kill an unborn child, who has an ENTIRE LIFE left to live, people say it should be 100% okay. Sorry, i'm confused.

Excuse me, that is really really uncalled for...Totally unnecessary remark.
Again very offensive....is that how you debate? To shock and cause contravercy?

That's all the media does, although personally I didn't find that remark rude at all. Sorry if you did :shrug:

Keep in mind that in debates things will be said that may be found offensive to some people (you can't have a debate without it). You said you were leaving, which was a wise choice if you become offended. By replying yet again you open up yet another place where you can become offended, not a smart choice if the entire point of leaving is to stop being offended.

Again, i'm sorry if you saw that as a personal strike against you.

It isn't killing an unborn child. It is a lump of biomass. Potential life, and life, are two EXTREMELY different things.

And ghost, what you said was very offensive to a mother. Wednesday is right.

Just clarifying that they actually become billions of cells at some point...

Its ok to have your opinion...please dont make it personal .
Thanks
My original thought when saying that wasn't a personal thing, however it was to get one last move while you left against your case. I probably shouldn't have done it, sorry.

@Irviding
Extremely different or not, this debate will never end until the human race can 100% prove when the baby is actually "formed" (as in free thinking can occur and it has a "soul" of sorts). At that point there will probably be a law created saying you can't abort it after that point, because it would be Murder to some degree 😉

At some point is right. I've always been supportive of abortions completely unrestricted up to 6 months in pregnancy. After that, it should only be allowed if the mothers life is in danger.

@Irviding
That's actually a great view on it. To be completely honest I don't care at all either way on abortions, I only joined up in this debate on the other side from you because I noticed only a few others were able to counter your points, and needed some help to make it fun (a one sided debate sucks :\).

My personal view on the matter is, do whatever. Is it murder at some point? Well yeah, of course, but then again i'm also one to think that only the strongest should have rights to live (as in the animal kingdom).

Yes...until 6 months although it's their fault that they had sex AND they have fully functional brains after only weeks in their mother.

And their hearts are there and beating at 1 month, soooo....

You don't seem to understand what I'm saying.

WHY should a mother be forced to have a baby she doesn't want? Have an unwanted, unloved, baby. Why?

That's so arrogant that you feel entitled to have control over someone elses body and what they are hosting.

Bringing an unwanted and unloved child into the world is no life, it may as well be dead.

Not really, it can still be productive in society, and taking its choice to live isn't exactly nice.
