No, I was saying I'd gladly abort one of those plastic trolls.

What have they done to you? If it was a real troll and you were on a bridge you needed to cross, you wouldn't go over and kill it would you, why do it to a replica? 🙁

Now if a court of law can prove rape, I think an exception can be made there.

I disagree. The courts screw up rape cases all the time. Sometimes a man is jailed innocently, and sometimes a woman's rapist gets off on a technicality. Relying on a court of law to determine rape before a woman can abort a fetus is absolutely ridiculous and frankly laughable. Court cases can take years until a verdict is reached. Furthermore, even if the trial is expedited, we're still looking at like 2-3 months at least and by the time the police can make an arrest and such, that's two months or a month knocked out there, we're looking at like 6 months into the pregnancy and by that time the fetus is really in no longer of a condition to be aborted, in my view at least. I know there are some more extreme abortion supporters who support right up until it's born, but for me, I stop at 6 months and only support it after that if the mother's life is in danger.

Courts issue temporary decisions all the time. Remember when the Arizona law was stayed? If a woman was obviously not raped, then it's her fault for bringing the child into the world. She should have to meet the consequences.

But what you don't understand is that will become a normal thing. Your idea is not realistic. It's that simple.

And good idea, force a woman to deliver a baby as a punishment and consequence. This way it will be cared and loved for.

Let's say that a child is already born and a mother is sick of it. what does she do?

That's a very very rare thing. It would be her decision to have custody remanded to a family member (sister, brother) or put it up for adoption. The baby is already born. In some extreme cases, of course you'll have the woman who abandons her child somewhere, but again, that's not the common woman.

Just curious, is your goal to make all women who don't go to mass every Sunday or who have doubts about their pregnancies into monsters?? It sure seems like it.

No? Turn on your local news. You hear about it multiple times a month almost anywhere.

It would be her decision to have custody remanded to a family member (sister, brother) or put it up for adoption.
Sounds like a nice plan for them to do with unborn children. You said it would be cruel to put them through the adoption system, but you are proposing it here. Stop contradicting yourself.

The baby is already born.
Why does that matter? what if this child was born 30 seconds ago?

Turn on the news. I suggest you wake up into the real world. It happens every day.

Just curious, is your goal to make murder illegal, except in some circumstances which you define?

Of course. I can turn on my local news or even the national news and find a few hundred of these cases that happen every few months or so. You're totally right. HOWEVER, about 10-15 thousand babies are born daily in the US. So I think that trumps your argument into a smaller than 1 percent amount of babies being abandoned.

Sounds like a nice plan for them to do with unborn children. You said it would be cruel to put them through the adoption system, but you are proposing it here. Stop contradicting yourself.
I'm not contradicting myself at all. Stop making stupid accusations.

It sounds like a nice thing, but you have no god damn right to tell a woman what to do with her body. Let me repeat myself, you have no god damn right to tell a woman what to do with her body. Again. You have no god damn right to tell a woman what to do with her body. Good? Or shall I repeat myself? One last time. You have no god damn right to tell a woman what to do with her body.
I proposed it here because we run out of options. The baby is born, the mother does not want it, so that is the only option to do other than giving it to a family member. I'm not contradicting anything. Your attempts to make my statements invalid are laughable.

The baby is already born.
Why does that matter? what if this child was born 30 seconds ago?

Same applies. I don't support abortions past 6 months. I thought I said this already.

Turn on the news. I suggest you wake up into the real world. It happens every day.
I suggest you read my above post regarding the amount of babies born every day. You can find more on the CIA factbook if you wish.

I also suggest you wake up. If abortion is made illegal, which it never will be because my generation of accepting and non christian fundamentalists will soon be in charge, you will be hearing about the spike of coat hanger abortions. Just know, you will have been a part of that. You will be able to tell your grand children about how you were the reason for that baby being ripped out of a womb in a dirty back alley and killed. Be proud.

Just curious, is your goal to make murder illegal, except in some circumstances which you define?
It's not murder when it can't live without the support of its mother. It is a parasite. It is nothing. Get it through your head.
