Whatever they decide they have to make the right choice. They will still be around my guess is but moves to another software.

@Grimalkin had moved her forum to ProBoards as she had announced in some of her threads about it. WeTheGamers, I've been following the events about it but nothing else came out of it yet.

shame, But wasn't your site large? if it was small and hadn't had much traffic then that's fine. But shame to see something go.

Not that big really, but I can easily export my member base into something new via bulk email. Many of my active members already support the new move so far I should say 🙂

Like Bry has already mentioned, I've moved my forum to ProBoards. Luckily I went with them and didn't end up choosing Icyboards to move to since they are going the same way as Zetaboards.

As far as everyone else goes, that decision is up to them regarding what they are going to do with the communities that they've created. Kind of like what Empire said, they'll just have to do what they feel is the right choice for them. I can't make that choice for them any more than they can make that choice for me.

I moved mine to Icyboards. Then after getting established there, i had to move again due the announcement of that platform closing down. I a now on Jcink where i am happier as i know that platform better than most other platforms.

I'm glad you're happier with Jcink, however, I'm sorry to hear that you had to make the move a second time. Making the move once is bad enough.

Others felt the same too. There was one person that I know who was on the verge of just giving up when the news had broke out.

And also, I'll be jumping into the Jcink bandwagon like most others later in the year, just to say.
