Oh. Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I just want to ask though, why does music in general keep people away from webpages? I happen to like music on pages so long as it's not too loud.
Well, firstly there is no way of controlling the users sound.
If they start to load a webpage and suddenly hear music screaming at them if their speakers are loud, chances are they'll just close the page.
Secondly, not everyone likes the same music so if you have any on your webpage chances are the majority would prefer something different and that may cause them to leave
It also increases loading time, esp. on dialup and uses a lot of bandwidth.
If you mean the links in "Plug your board" I have no control over that, as it's the users who put the links and buttons in there. If they don't put the right links or button links, it doesn't work. They do "clean" out, so over time, it will fix itself.
To make it easier on main page load, I made a new page (using freeforums additional pages) just for the plug your board. This way the main page is clean and you can still add you board. Only thing is I have no control over who adds what and how many times they add it.
Yes, I've noticed that it does improve page loads after moving it to a seperate page. I've added an anime forum for those who wish to discuss anime within AC Chillz...
