Hey everyone, I am here to share my opinion and experience on Account merging, more about your own account being merged with an other account-person, you don't have access to log in with.

3 days ago or so I was checking as a guest the forums CF or other name admin community again, and noticed a topic of mine that I clicked on was now under a other username. I toughed what the hell, a bit more browsing I found out it was merged with the new owner, (3d owner of CF-AC) StephenM. 1300+posts, actually my work in the site merged with that guy. All my guides and stuff, all credit is gone to me but now to him, all my work gone to his name, and access. This is really something only an unexperienced webmaster would do. I dunno why he did it, but its like one of those moves you do if your bored or something, or even stupid maybe.

It alot better to register with a new account as new owner of a website instead of taking the ex-owners account. And you know WHAT ? I was not even owner, I was the owner before David, and David sold it again. The new owner took the account of David and had around 200 posts, so I don't know why he also took my account. You should know I was inactive after the day David sold the board, and the new owner fired most staff. But still that is no reason to take my account into his own account regardless of being owner of everything on that site.

I am not trying to create some drama btw, just sharing the latest blunder I don't want to see happening too any of you! I posted this on some boards as you can see ...

Mean while this guy has sold the board again so I heard from a friend of mine.

That forum gets sold very quickly, doesn't it? I remember when sbfc sold it to David and I was not a retained staff.

Admin Community - I remember that place when I was on staff. Has gone so far down hill.

I was a mod for a week or two when Sbfc was running it, looks like it's gone to poop now.

You ask the new owner to delete all your guides or give credit to you.

I was the owner when the holidays started, at the 28th or so of June I sold it to David who runned the site with me, Tom and him, then some days ago he sold it to like me to a guy. Then some days after this guy merges my account with his without asking, I haven't even talked to him so no. As I turned inactive after David sold it again, as I was dispepointed.

Well, he sold it, and the guy merged it with another forum (did not use admincommunity.com), who sold it, and apparently the guy used that as the domain.

Yeah, that's true too. I was just referring to sbfc's. If I remember correctly, PromotionBB.com (Mr. Green) was also merged in, correct?

Well if you sold that forum to someone, then it becomes there's and there isn't anything you can do about it. It's that other persons forum now and not yours so he can do whatever he wants with it.

While I'm not interested in all the drama, tell the guy to credit you, or delete them. Say that the posts were under a CC license (unless you copyrighted them, which then you could send a C&D).
