Acer Aspire 5732Z Laptop

Hey everyone.

So I ordered this laptop the other day and it's gonna arrive soon. It's a Intel Pentium® Dual Core T4300, 4GB, 500GB, 15.6" Screen, Windows 7 Home Premium. I thought it was pretty cheap?

Has anyone bought it or think it's good? Thanks.

Honestly, I think that you could have gotten a better deal.

The laptop isn't bad, though.

Acer is a good company and produce good machines, never had a problem with them. Agreed with Snobo where you could have got a better deal. http://ebuyer.com/ for example you could maybe look at the same price but including a core 2 duo instead of a pentium perhaps. Some good machines there. However, the laptop seems good enough and should run fine.

Acer is a great company for laptops, though, so I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I use an Acer PC and is has a few issues. The entire computer (from the day I got it) freezes up when you visit yahoo via firefox and if the power goes out the machine has to be powered off for a coupe hours before it will be able to come back on (no it has not surged, the power comes on but the OS refuses to load). But overall I like it.

Sounds like a software issue rather than Acer?

Acer's are nice. But they are usually cheaper than that.

I disagree. £400 for a 500GB, 4GB RAM is a fantastic price. I would be tempted to buy thay myself as I need a new laptop.

I personally hate acer, everything went wrong with my first one. The screen fell off, the wireless messed up for me. I tried to get a new one from acer but even having 1 year guarantee they basically told me to go away. Even though that laptop looks nice, hope you enjoy it 🙂

My last laptop only lasted about 1 month :lol: Well it was a 2nd hand laptop and with all the browsing time I used no wonder it broke. I've got a really expensive laptop at the moment so hope its good 🙂

I got my laptop and am very pleased with it 🙂 However, I don't really like the touch pad on it. So I'm currently using my wireless mouse 🙂

My Acer latop broke within a week.. Got a virus the minute I started Firefox worst company ever in my opinion.
