As an admin do you act /make decisions based on your emotions or do you try to put your emotions aside to handle situations?

I put my emotion aside, there's nothing worse then acting on pure hate, or love.

No, I don't let my emotions take control when it comes to making Forum-related decisions.

Indeed. Because that can severely cloud your judgment.

I do not let my emotions get to me.. I carefully analyze the situation before I make decisions.

I try to act professionally and act without being unduly influenced by my emotions. However, saying that I wouldn't put so much time and effort into my forums, if I wasn't so emotionally attached to them and our members.

If it ever happens then leave these situations aside for a day or two then decide what to do.

I try to think things over a few times and analyse why exactly I am making a decision to, for example, warn someone a few times before doing it. It helps.

I ALWAYS put my emotions aside. And just for safety I discuss anything iffy in the staffroom to hear what the others think before I go out on the floor to deliver any kind of ruling or whatnot.
