The forum looks great, well done. It might help to add a tagline below the logo, just something brief that describes what the forum is about.

I think the forum looks very slick, but I wouldn't be too sure what purpose it serves? What can they get there they can't at another forum - so maybe advertising differences between yourselves and others would be useful.
