Activision Confirms New Call of Duty For 2012

no way!

Probably won't get this one, I bought MW3 first one since WAW and that'll be good for a few more years for me lol.

If it's not scifi, i won't buy it. But I am still hoping for Call of Duty: Space Marines that was rumored a couple years ago.

Yes, I agree. New tactic and such would amp up the game a bit.

-- 12 Feb 2012, 18:11 --

You guys should leave these comments on my blog too... 😀

Black Ops 2 would be a lot of fun because I love zombie mode. But I am looking for something different, maybe another company this time. It would be better if we saw maybe tanks in it and airplanes, something like BF3 but with the same great quality that COD already has.
COD has an audience right now, they are geared towards players who want fast pace infantry based combat, the closest they will get to vehicles is killstreaks, they would lose a massive amount of players if they deviated from their current course. So many people love COD and hate BF, so why change? Besides their current formula has built the franchise and has got them all their money, you don't see Battlefield changing all the time do you? Well, only a little... Because they're stupid..

That's also entirely true. If you want heavy vehicles, BF is the way to go.

Wait a minute don't they make a game every year?!
They should add vehicles and fix the faulty engine.

Vehicles, as said before, will make it BF-like, which many people don't like.

Have to agree with Patrick, we need the vehicles in these games. I've bought COD every year the past few years but doubt I will get it this year as it is becoming very repetitive now.

You'll still buy it on release day for $60, just like everyone else on the internet who claims they won't.

They really have to stop making so many Call of Duties every year. It really bugs me. MW3 is already at WW3, will they not run out of ideas? Or I assume they will start making up random trash.

That's where the sci-fi games will help them out. They can create fake weapons, grenades, characters, factions, planets, stories. Literally limitless possibilities. My only fear is that it will turn into the next Halo.

I've given up with this franchise now, think they have over done it now.

treyarch did good with BO for the most part.
I hope they do one again.
