I personally use Malware AntiBytes, the fast scan is extremely good and the long scan, while taking an extremely long time (mine took 3 hours without finishing) is very thorough. However, I haven't used the other two, so I can't downtalk the other two.

Is the free version of MalwareBytes "realtime" ?

I use Avast ocassionally and do not want conflicts.

?

Malwarebytes removes malware and the other removes viruses.

The problem with comparing these products is they each do their own thing.

Spybot is anti spyware

AdAware is anti adware.

Malware bytes is just a malware scanner.

Malwarebytes scans for everything ad aware and spybot does. It does also have a paid version with real time protection. The free version however does not.

-- 14 Jun 2011, 13:16 --

Virus is a type of malware

Realtime AntiMalware/SpyWare is not needed if you have a good AV. But I prefer SuperAntiSpyware Portable. You do not need to install it. Viruses and Malware are unable to hide from it as its an .BAT file and is downloaded under random file names. I have cleaned many - many Rogue AV's with this neat little TOOL. I recommend it to anyone infected. Cheers!
