I need some suggestion on implementing ad-revenue sharing at my blog.

Have you tried it? Does it work well and how does it work at all?

I want my registered authors at my blog to have revenue share of whatever earning their posts will make.

I am using WordPress and came across some plugins for that, so want your opinion how to do it.

Thanks.

When you receive your ad revenue check, PayPal each author their share?

That's what I had first in mind. But the problem is how to efficiently share the amount? Some blogger might have 10 posts and whereas some might have only done 1. So it would be unfair the blogger with higher amount of posts to share it with others? Isn't it?

I don't think the number of posts should matter. You need to some how be able to count the views on each post individually. You should distribute the earnings according to the amount of views each writer has brought to your website.

For example Writer A writes 3 posts and has 4000 views on the 3 of them combined and Writer B writes 8 posts and has 1000 views on the 8 of them combines so you should pay Writer A more then Writer B because his content was more engaging and brought more visitors.

You could calculate the share of each writer by (Total Revenue -Your share/Total views) * Views by the Writer.

I think there should be a plugin for doing it let me do a some research and I will tell you if I find something.
