In a sense I agree. I may be wrong because I never had to depend on advertisements when my forum was still around, but forum owners who add advertisement slots in their websites must be at least this prepared when they placed it. Since as said many members will use ad block to improve their experience, and if that means getting more active members/visitors to your websites, I feel it's worth it. That is, if the aim is solely to create a happy and big community. I'm aware that it's also hard to realize such idea without financial support.Thomje112 said:
I've been around in online forums and websites for years but never used adblock. Annoyed at times, yes, but I would only close the page where there are many annoying ads and move on.
