So I got a check in the mail today from adbrite. I ran their ads for over a month and had hundreds of thousands of impressions and plenty of clicks but only made $5.68. So I dumped them. Today (three or 4 months later) a check comes in the mail for the $5.68 from them. [sarcasm]Thanks for the profitable banners and speedy payouts[/sarcasm]
I had forgotten all about them until this check came. 😛

Have you used adbrite? How do you feel about them?

i used them before and than few days it was paying good amount for clicks but than it become very low...

Nah I use Adsense. I'm currently making at least $5.68 a day lol

About 800 I think, but I'm getting Adsense from all 3 of my forums, not just 1.

If so, you wouldn't need a real life job as that would be equivalent to a real daytime job pay, or more.

@ David, exactly, which is why I'm sad I don't get as much traffic as other forums.

@ Fergal, I don't have any examples in memory, however, many forums over at www.theadminzone.com are making hundreds to thousands on Adsense. Here are some quotes from members in the 'Big Boards' section (you can only get in there if your forum has over 500k posts)

hey may be putting in decent time now, but not nearly as much as I did when I started the site and saw little to no return for 3-4 years. Now I'm making, on average, $500/day between ads and memberships (This could be temporary, but I have no idea, that's just what I was doing last month and into this month).

I started my network four years ago. Hell, five years ago I didn't even know what adsense was. I hit a niche, and after I started seeing profits, I just bought out all my competition.

I can't actually find other posts now saying how much they get but people don't really like saying anyway as it's against googles TOS.

I had tried AdBrite yet found it disgusting. The ads aren't as nice as AdSense's and just found low CPC and just in general click-through rates so dropped them.

Also they are really slowing my forum up. Getting rid of them.
