Adding Members To Groups? (Quick Question)

When adding members into groups on my forum, the "Reviewers", "Achievement Writers", but main "Moderators", should I also still leave them in the "Registered Users" group, but have the new group as Default Group? or Should I remove them completely from the "Registered Users" group and have them only in the Staff Group in hiring them into?

I would leave them in the Registered Users group, it does no harm.

I agree with pandaa. If you delete them from it, it may mess up permissions.

I tried removing a staff member from The Registered Users group, and it messed up the permissions. Now you could probably give the user permissions of Registered Users to the staff groups, but leaving it does no harm.

As everyone else has said, it's best to leave every member regardless of what 'default' group they're in, in the 'Registered Users' group.

It really creates more havoc when trying to move users out of the new group, when promoting, demoting, banning, whatever.
