Adding New Page to User CP

So... what I'm aiming to do is add a new page to my usercp so it shows like /usercp.php?action=editbanner. I know how to add a new link to the usercp_nav template, but how do I go about actually making the page under usercp?

Once I get there, I need there to be a field that saves as a custom profile field. Is this possible with code edits or is a plugin needed?

oh its mybb, i didn't notice the prefix. it needs editing in usercp.php, i am, not sure if it can be done with hooks.
