Addon to take X% of revenue on site?

Is it possible to set something up, where for example, on my site if I create user upgrades for staff signature advertisements, that the site could get like 2-3% of it, but the staff member gets 97-98% of the amount? Something to help with hosting expenses.

That's too bad. Would be a nice way to allow people to sell things directly while keeping a very small portion (like 5% or less) to help with hosting expenses.

XF RM or Dragonbyte eCommerce, Im not sure which would be better for purely digital stuff, no physical (not likely).

Both seem like its possible. Though with dragonbyte's I may need to do like "95% to X user" to have the 5% to us, but with XFA's I can do a flat like 2, 3, 5% or so.

I own this and I don't think it will do what you want. It is for the forum owner to sell like a store front. I was selling video cards when they were up in price. 🙂

It seems like you'd have to figure out a way to follow the link and activity on the site to even begin to track it. It would almost be easier to track if you offered a premium membership to allow for clickable links in people's signatures.

Links are denied to "registered" (in signatures), but allowed in tier 2 and up (5/mo and up). Tier 1 is mostly just a 'I want to support the site and remove ads" and that's it. No ads yet, but when we get to the point where it's worth it.
