Both of those forums are extremely overused concepts. Admin/promotion forums, general chat forums, and gaming forums are easily the 3 most made and overpopulated.

Just my suggestion. People come on here all the time starting general gaming forums/admin forums/general chat forums.dotDavid said:You know, the question was "Which forum should I create?" and the two options are "Admin Forum" and "General Chat Forum".
"Neither" isn't an option so really, that is not a valid answer. This isn't really the place to talk about "overused" ideas.
To be fair, when theezy created Wober, the same notion of thought was around. It's over 700 members and nearly 150k posts. Who's to say that Noh!P can't do the same?

The fact is that nowadays these sites are very hard to take off the ground I simply suggested something different if he would like to see a successful forum.
And in response to you bringing up theezy, he is a well known site admin with a large community behind him from FA and his other projects. That's how his thing was so successful. What I meant is that both of these ideas are extremely overused forum genres, of which are hard to get going if you don't already have a large community behind you (ie theezy).
