AdminAds

The hardest part about managing a promotion forum is originality. This is a really big issue that all the forums in this category face. AdminAds is a catchy name and it is easy to remember which is good , you have a 18 per day post average which is good ,but only 4 threads per day which is not good. Try to even that up, more threads mean more posts.

All in all its an average promotion forum, for it to grow past the average you need to find a unique thing that will make you stand out.

Thanks buddy, ye threads needs worked on I will speak to my team regards to this. As for uniqueness like you said its hard but will see what can be done.

When I click on the links in the Information Center & Community Lounge! It says 404 not found.

Not exactly about your forum (though also kinda is), but the advertising banner you have in your signature for the site looks like something from the 90s. The font styles and colours look really dated and the arrow image is quite blurry. It also kinda screams, 'Buy!!! Buy!!! Buy!!!' rather than, 'Get Admin help / services here,' and I'm not sure if that's the impression you want to give.

Thanks for reduction fee Cosmic1 I will pick on your points and reply once i get more time. But for now you said you are not familiar with group P.R.P if you click on it its a short for "package, Review, Promotion. I wanted to use one group for the 3 to not have many gorups
Maybe rename PRP to something like "Service Team?" That name has probably been used before, but so has "Community Team," etc.

Name wont make such difference, and I feel P.R.R (Package. Review. Promotion) Aint bad of short form, but thanks for suggestion.

-- 15 Jan 2015, 09:52 --

I havent done this myself, Im, not good in graphics i had it done by one of FP users for The forum cash. I'll reduce the size and make new one since we no longer have the old theme, thanks for point out.

Thank you for requesting a re-review! A reviewer will tag your request as soon as possible. 🙂

To be honest, Scareface. You have a pretty decent forum. To improve further I would get a couple of Package Team Members because there are currently none.

The design of the forum is pretty interesting and unique especially when I first see the forum. I am very happy and impressed to see a Welcome message when I click on AdminAds, This is very professional.

I also like to see you have a catchy Forum name, which is a feature I like about forums. This will help your visitors know how to come back because they will remember you forum name

Apart from what I mentioned first, I personally think your forum is really good and I wish you luck with maintaining it.

My first impressions of Admin Ads were, far different than I anticipated. Your current home page is a portal. Having a portal as a homepage is overwhelming positive if you include something to complement the portal. Unfortunately, your homepage just seems like, well, a portal and an announcement on a posting contest. Have you considered adding a blog to your homepage? Right now, there is a lack of quality webmaster blogs, so you have space to move into the webmaster blog genre. A blog on a homepage can add something to help draw your members into the forum, because if you have a good enough blog, people will want to read it. It will require people to write for it constantly, though. The positives greatly outweigh the negatives if you can get articles consistently posted on your blog. It will increase your member's knowledge of webmaster related tips, as well as help boost your SEO score.

My original statement still stands. I was not expecting a theme quite like yours. However, I really like it. A theme like that is not made for a webmaster/promotion forum, though you've made it work rather well. The main background consists of fall colored leaves. Again, this is something I would never expect see on a forum of your genre. This really helps add to your originality. Your forum has a theme like no other in your genre currently has.

You currently have 1214 Topics and 5986 Replies. While those aren't bad stats, they aren't exceptional either. I see you're currently running a contest right now. This is a really good idea, especially with how you're running it. You are currently offering something people want from you, and you have a reasonable goal for them to receive the prize. Your stats could use some work. Though, I already see you participating in exchanges here on FP, as well as running some very good contests for your members to participate in. Over time, your statistics will improve to show the level of commitment you have to your forum.

[note]========== BEGIN - Originality ==========[/note]
Originality is one of the hardest things to accomplish in a promotion/webmaster forum. Unfortunately, you do not have very many unique features, or even features I can't already find on FP. You need to come up with some sort of crazy, but unique service. I would recommend you try as much as possible. Make as many different advertising ideas that can't be found anywhere else as you possibly can. Even if the services don't work out well, you can use them as a marketing tool for people. People will try almost any service that they think will possibly help their forum. So, if you make some services that no one else has, you'll at least have people come to look at them.

Admin Ads uses the new layout system that has become quite popular on MyBB. I am a huge fan of this system, personally. It helps people find what they're looking for far quicker than scrolling down a page until they find it. However, it is counter productive on a promotion forum. People go to promotion forums to either promote their forum, or to look for a new forum to join. Right now, your directory is not on the first page. I would recommend you move the "Home" category off default, and replace it with the "Advertising & Helping Hands" section. This would get your promotion section some more exposure to visitors. They don't really need to see the Meta categories first, especially because your homepage can be used to inform your viewers about your site.

Spelling & Professionalism
[note]========== BEGIN - Spelling & Professionalism ==========[/note]
Your announcements and rules need some work. On your homepage the first thing that stands out to me is the "Promoting Admin's to Success" banner. This should be "Promoting Admins To Success". That ' isn't needed, because it should just be implying multiple admins are being promoted to success.

You should read all your rules and announcements out loud. There are some pretty easy to see mistakes in them. Posting in your staff room and asking for staff input is also a good way to avoid Grammar mistakes and hard to understand language that I see in your rules.

Final Remarks
Admin Ads has came a long way since I saw it last. You have a few things I pointed out in the review that should be fixed, as well as some thing to consider for the future. With a little patience and continuous effort, Admin Ads will continue to move forward to becoming an amazing place to promote your forum. Good luck!

I love the new theme. It looks really good. Maybe you could add some more images around the header area that makes it look like a promotion forum. If it wasn't for your name "AdminAds", it looks like a general discussion forum.

Not a huge fan of the tabbed categories feature. I love this feature but it doesn't work too well for promotion forums. Makes your forum look empty
