As of the past two days I have been working on my new website: http://AdminCentral.org
Not a lot has been done yet, but I am working hard. The really only complete part is the forum structure which is still being revised.

A little info about AdminCentral:

Some things we will feature:
-Website Tutorials
-SEO Tips and Advice
-A community forum
-Website directory
-Much more

The reason I am opening this website is because it is my other main passion in life; webmaster/administration. The other is gaming, as to why I also made GamerCafe.
Just like GamerCafe due to this being something I love it will stay a live indefinitely no matter how slow it starts or what happens I will do everything to keep it alive.

The Contest
To kick the website off even though I am still working on it a lot, I have decided to host a contest with a $20 cash prize.

The contest is simple, the first person to reach 150 posts that are of good quality content that really contributes to the community will receive a $20 cash prize over PayPal.
The quality of the posts will be determined by me and I will be very fair about it.

First prize - First person to reach 150 Good quality posts: $20 via PayPal
Second prize - Second person to reach 150 Good quality posts: $5 via PayPal
Bonus prize - Person who I felt made the biggest contribution: $5 via PayPal

Sounds good. I will start posting a lot more topics and such to try and make this a little easier since I had only just made the forum and have lots of other things I need to do.

I see tons of differences and the links are different as well. The forum layout isn't the same, either. I honestly don't get how he is copying that site?

Wow. Well for one I have not heard of that forum you linked. Think whatever you want. I made an admin community because along with gaming they're what I enjoy most.

I would be competing, but it seems no one else likes posting topics and everyone relies on the topics you post... :lol: Plus, I see someone replying to several threads with pointless replies so I don't feel like competing with that.

hey there mate I just got a suggestion to get rid of those spammy posts and get more serious posts on your forum. Divide those 20$ into three parts.

10$ to the one who make 150 posts first.
5$ to the second.
5$ to the one whose posts you like the most. (even if he has already got one of the above)

I am sure this will up the quality of posts.

That's a great idea although I did write this on the forum:

"I have said good quality and that should be obvious to everyone. If you make 200 posts and 100 of them are 1 word or completely pointless then you have only made 100 good quality posts and will still have another 100 to go."

Although the idea of a second and a prize for the ones i liked most is a great idea.
