I'm guessing you positioned both the PS and the DW at a relatively similar angle, but the illusion is that you have tilted the DW more dramatically (which looks better) because cutting off part of the bottom of a D is more noticeable than cutting off part of the bottom of a P. I'd suggest trying to tilt the PS in the opposite direction.
