How come you still have ads on your forum
Yeah ... how is this FREE? And why would a member donate, just to remove the ads for them self.
I'd rather just scroll right past them 😀
You should use the money, to remove ads for memebrs. but leave them up for guests, like i do 😉

It's not getting rid of the ads that's worth the donation -- it's that you're helping out by donating, and getting something in return.
You should go about it a different way though. Don't say you'll take ads off if you donate... that's like paying to take ads off. Just say that if you donate, you'll no longer see ads.
Completely the same thing, yes, but wording is always important when it comes to getting people to donate to ya.

Ok, so the money you donate isn't used AT ALL to pay for ad-removal. Because you donated you are rewarded for your good deed -😉- . Basically what Tecca is saying is correcto. Donations always seem a bit of a chore to me so getting something is reward is something to give back. But the money you have donated is used to buy domain names and copyright removal and such.
