All you have to do is tell webmasters on webmaster forums that you are selling advertising, you'll get hundreds of advertisers!

That is a good point, and I will be doing that once everything lifts off (you'll see -lol- )

It does pay more, but you need high levels of traffic as well.

Hmm, a while back like in 2007 I used Adbrite and I was getting around 2K impressions per month and earning 40-50p per month but then if I use it now it's like 0.02 per month -D- I may try to use Adsense on some sites but last time I tried to take it on I had to fill in and send back tax forms.

I never liked Bidvertiser at all.

I had them for a while, the ad's that popped up were totally irrelevant and unprofessional, and written in fractured English.

AdBrite is nice though, so is WidgetBucks.

I was banned from bidvertiser, because apparently someone was a arse and clicked on the same ad several times. So they counted it as fradualent clicks.

I'd like to add http://www.buysellads.com/ to the list. It's very high class, you don't need to worry about getting "clicks" and the sort. Only issue is they don't take just anyone (you should have 100,000+ page views a month for example).

They pay well though, some ad slots are going for $380 monthly (and selling mind you).
