Many people have hidden VIP / Elite forums, but what about adult forums? For like sex talk and whatnot.
Do you have one or would you add one to your forum? Or is that too controversial, even for a hidden forum that nobody can see?

But generally I use my common sense, most youngsters do not have much cash to play around with and most of those that are members say 90% I know from other forums.

There is nothing hardcore in there as I would not allow that and certainly far tamer than you can find doing a normal search online.

I guess you could get to know your members and make a determination on who is mature enough to enter based on your interactions with them.

If the forum provider allows adult content, then fine, I don't care. But it's the forums that know their providers don't allow it. Example being ProBoards. I've reported allot of forums that have adult content, rather they be nude pics, hentai related roleplay, etc.

Birdy is women and it doesn't cost anything to join the forum but you have to pay $20 if you want to see adult part of the forum.

Well any forum that I am going to own in the following 3 years are no going to have a adult section since I am under 18. If was 18 or older and had forum I may have a adult section but it won't have thing hardcore in it.

Same. I've had it since I've been 16 lol. Birdy, you can get disposable visa vouchers in a lot of places in Europe for values up to 350€. I'd reconsider that part of your age verification...


And as for me: no. The server does allow it but the competition in that market is far too large. Secondly while I like porn as much as any other guy, I still have a twinge of guilt regarding it and setting up a porn site would go far beyond what I would deem acceptable. Thirdly proving age would be a problem and most of the members of my site are under 18 years of age.

I would advise maybe doing some kind of creditcard verification like most pornography websites do, or only allow members to pay via debit/credit card with their name on it.

My forum has a more "mature" forum where users are able to act a little more rowdy and curse as they wish, but it's nothing over-the-top.

As for adult forums, as long as they block their stuff from non-registered users so some kid doesn't accidentally view it, I don't have too much of an issue with it.

I guest it is a good idea, but how will you find material to add to the adult web forum without breaking copyright since I'm pretty sure most adult sites have their pictures and movies copyrighted.

I won't make a adult forum since it can prevent me from getting a job since some employers dont like to hire people which do questionable activities online and offline. A guy I saw on the news got fired from the mayor office because his wife was a porno star.

I've been a part of a forum that used the hidden concept requiring password entry, but I've never liked that sort of methoed, too many things can go wrong that way.

I don't mind Adult talk and graphic conversation but often times it's not what I think that matters, it's what the advertisers think that get the strings pulled. It was for advertiser compliance that FAC had to remove it completely from the site and create a branch site and forum that is not recognized as such by the FAC main page or forum. Staff and users do not deny it's existance, we just do not have public links and even remove them from FAC when found.

Well I dont know how the law works where you live, but around here that would be grounds for discrimination lawsuit.

Obviously you don't read the TOS of paypal as you need to be 18+ to sign up to paypal. They are introducing new student paypal accounts however. But for now your not mean't to have one so it's probably not smart to publicly post it.

We have an adult forum...contrary to belief it is not full of sexual innuendos ...though that's fun too! 🙂
Its an area to vent..swear, let of steam that is not suitable to the rest of the forum.
Knowing if a person is eligible to enter said forum comes down to a certain amount on trust.After all you are entrusting them to that part of the forum. Also there is nothing that minors can not read or see elsewhere on the net.
