Well that is your choice, but I personally feel that the forum software shouldn't effect the members attitudes when using the forum, it's still a forum no matter what it looks like or how it is laid out. 😉

I have the same problem. It is not only down to how it looks and how it is laid out. It is also down to how it works and how it feels. Whether you accept it or not, the look of a forum does affect how much a user wants to join it and post on it. Take your bedroom for example. If it doesn't look nice, you won't enjoy being in there and you won't look forward to going in there. The same goes for a forum. If you don't like the look of a forum, you won't look forward to visiting.
