If you are going to have a 0 post rule you better get ready for some hard work -lol-

Very true having no set rules from the start is bad. its best to start with the rules then ease up or adjust them as the forum takes off. You will have a hard time implementing rules later on when your forum starts to grow. Unless you don't care to have a 1000 topic 0 post forum.

Just curious, why bump a thread for a cracked / inoperable site?

You know what guys. The idea of ADVERTISING forums isnt about posts, its about helping other forums. You dont go into it wanting the most posts.
If you guys feel so crazy about posts make a spam forum.
We're here to help your forum we dont care if we have 1,000's topics of services and 0 posts in the general section.

I hope to see you all there 🙂

We do care about posts but there not the most important thing we care about. I just feel if you have all your services requiring a post count of 0 is a bad idea as you will get lots of requests. Good luck anyway.

I believe a link directory is best for a 100% ad site. A forum should be about content. On my forum(s) I am not crazy about post counts. I am crazy about content.

On my new (2 weeks old) promotion forum my goal is to help my members by providing content that is going to help them be a better promoter. Great content also brings in guests that are not there to advertise but to learn and in turn will be the potential new members on a new forum.

Magic doesn't happen by just posting an ad on some forum. I have seen many forums become a link directory with no content and it looks like they got spammed by 100 3rd world countries.

Atm I am looking for professional coders and website designers to join my forum because that will benefit the new forum promoters that have questions. I am trying to build a strong base which is the "General" section of the forum, the promoters will come automatically.

Please check out SIGforum.com for an example of what great content can do to a forum. (Link at the bottom of my signature)

I do wish you the best of luck with your forum! 🙂

Exactly, closing and opening forums everyday isnt going to get you members, maybe you should try and stick to one forum and keep it open.
