I know The Reverend will do a great job with carrying on from where I started, just to let you know I will be staying as an administrator.

Here is my feedback:

Instead of using: http://advertisingmania.info/am/

Use the root of your domain to put the forum in.
Add more protection against having spam bot members.

Remove or fix:

From all places on the forum. Also: You have the Index Ads bar twice on index.

Clean your members. Remove all spam bots like: http://advertisingmania.info/am/user-852.html

Remove out of navbar the link to "Store" until you use it for something. Currently it shows 404 not found.

Demote all "Important Threads" until you reviewed them and seen if they are indeed important to be stickied. First topic to go through would be forum rules, editing it if needed and letting it be on its spot.

You have "26" posts made so far. I suggest spreading your posts as much as possible and getting a new post made in 75% of your forum sections once in 3 days time. So like 5 forums show a post made today on index. That will decrease the chance of a guest or user thinking your forum is dead.

Get your co-partner Steven to participate in this type of posting to.

My feedback. I haven't yet talked about promoting and all just stuff to do before getting more exposure. :great:

Good luck with the re opening.

A couple of suggestions:
-Get new icons for new posts/no new posts. I just don't think it looks nice having them over the edge like that.

-If not the above, a new theme. I think it can be a nice theme due to how simple it is but I think there's better choices out there, even free ones.

-Favicon

- Fixing up {myadvertisements[zone_1]} as said by master also.

-Either add icons to the rest of the forums or remove the current ones, I don't think it looks very complete when only 5 out of all the forums have them.

-Revise forum descriptions. Some of them don't seem to be punctuated perfectly then others do not even have a full stop. Just a professional presentation thing.

-Download the mod to show if a forum is online or offline for the services area. Very useful for any service based area.

-Remove the Gallery and Store links if you're not going to be using them

-Move the forum to the root directory and if you don't have anything more then the forum, remove the home link and leave the forum one.

Thanks for the feedback, I will be getting all these things sorted, apart from the theme, which I think is great 🙂

Advertisingmania.info now redirects to /am 🙂
 
Because I bought the forum of stevenf50, and for some reason it was like that. The internal links point to /am anyway so it was easier to set up a redirect.
 
You only need to edt two small things for everything to change. I'd be happy to tell you in a PM if you would like.
 
No, its fine the way it is, but thanks for the offer my friend 🙂 It wouldnt really make much difference.
