• All prices are quoted in GBP Sterling and payment must be made in GBP Sterling.

Content

• Advertisements on bricksandbooks.co.uk will not be accepted if they contain:
• Links to pornographic material
• Links to illegal material or actions (e.g.: warez sites)
• Links to sites that contain material not suitable for younger viewers (e.g.: Adult humor sites)

As I am new to selling advertising I assumed this was a reasonable amount, if people with more experience in selling adverts care to give me advice on what is a better price, I will happily amend my prices if I know they will sell.

Well put it this way, you're charging (basically) £15 a month (with the 25% off) for a footer banner with 1,000 unique hits a month. I'm charging £12 a month for a footer banner the same size with 23,000 unique visitors and 4 million hits a month. Granted I'm fairly cheap but yours are pretty dear. You might have better luck starting off cheaper until you get more visitors? Just some friendly advice. Don't wanna see your thread dead for months because everyone is too lazy to mention what they think of your prices. Up to you though, you do what you feel is best for your site 🙂

Yes.
You're way too expensive.

I've seen websites offering advertising for the same prices you are.
But they get like 1,000 unique visits per day, not per month. 😉

Wow one person comments and everyone jumps on me, as I stated in a few posts above this is the first time I have ever sold advertising space, so If I am wrong I will alter it. Thankfully Cloverfield has kindly offered me his advice via private message and I will be altering my prices soon.

There is no need to be rude, I just explained myself twice, you would think people with more experience in these matters would be more helpful to new webmasters like myself instead of making them look silly just because they had got the price wrong and miss-worded something.

p0sixninja apology accepted and don't worry about it, I think this can be classed as a step learning curve for me. I would like to take the time to thank Cloverfield for offering me help and advice via the pm system.

The opening post has now been re-adjusted with new prices and a link to my awstats screenshot as well.

I hope this is more appealing to potential buyers.

The awstats screenshot for the month of July has been updated with the latest stats.

Here are the stats for July:
Unique visitors: 1,631
Number of visits: 3,108
Pages: 30,960
Hits: 200,700

Also the prices have been reduced even further so please take a look.
