What advice that you read on Forum Promotion helped you out the most with your site(s)? Out of curiosity, what was the worst advice that you read on Forum Promotion?
Do you have any tips or tricks of your own, or from someone else, that has worked for you?

I think the best advice would be from anyone that actually knows what they're talking about, and the worst just newbs that know nothing and only trying to sound "smart".
