Ok I would say dont advertise major companies for starters(e.g egg and capital one etc etc).
 
i would make the logo the same size of the forum width
 
I know it's not your fault but those ads will put a lot of members off, not because they are ads but because they have no relation to your sites content. I am currently looking at a half naked women advertising singles chat in my area on your forum for example..

The thing about your forum is it very unlikely to be the place where people would THINK of going but rather NEED to go if their pc has a problem...if that makes sense. I expect most of your members will be looking for your type of forum through a search engine rather than a forum like this so i'd advise some SEO... however being on a freehost that isn't that possible
 
I guess I'm jut useless and wasting my time making it them because I can't afford it because I'm only 15. How can I make money for this?

It makes me so angry because I spend a lot of time making it.
 
I mean I was a lifeguard over the summer and made a couple grand, but I don't have a credit card, I can't get it to paypal.
 
I think maybe changing the colouring of the ranks and they seem not to work for me
 
ok there is a way to turn off the ads I have as I am with forumotion. What host are you using ? I will try and help if I can.

He is using freeforums.org... There is no way to get rid of the ads with freeforums.org unless you pay monthly.... Another reason why forumotion are much better.
 
I am going to change themes because everyone is saying it is too dark, is that a good idea?

Ah right i didnt know they couldnt turn them off on freeforums.org its mad 🙂
