Site Name: Endless Fight
Link: Endless Fight
Short Info about the Board: We are a multi-roleplay forum where members can create, plan and run their own roleplays. As well we have sections for members to talk about all things roleplay related or get help with their roleplays. Should if members get bored of talking about roleplay stuff then they can post in our other various areas, like our videogame section, music section or movies and tv section.
What types of forums you want to affiliate with (can be any):
Instead of going through a list of what we will affiliate with, I'll just say what we won't affiliate with. So if your site isn't filtered out by this list then we likely wouldn't mind affiliating. (Though just to be clear, just because a site isn't ruled out by the following list, doesn't mean I can't/won't opt not to affiliate anyway. )
So, here is what I will NOT affiliate with:
- Forums that have, or allow, pornographic content.
- Any forum that hasn't been open at least 6 months.
- Blogs or websites only. (If you have a forum and website together, that's fine as long as our button goes up on your forum.)
As far as the type of software/host? I'm not going to discern so long as I can easily navigate your site.
Another thing worth mentioning... Your link will be posted on my index in a static position. I expect the same. I may not affiliate if my link is going to be buried in a line of marquee affiliates or posted on an obscure page. (Or if I do decide to affiliate, I will place your button in a similar location.)

Q. Why is there a requirement for sites to be open for 6 months?
A. In the past I have found that the vast majority of forums do not last more than 2-3 months. Those that make it to the 6 month mark have a much better chance of survival for longer. Becoming an affiliate with forums before that 6 month mark typically only ends with me sending traffic to a dead site. (Which doesn't benefit me at all since virtually no traffic returns.) And it also means I have to clean out my affiliates more often.
Q. Is there an activity requirement?
A. Technically yes.
If a forum isn't getting any new topics, and hasn't gotten any in more than 4 weeks, I won't affiliate on principle. And if a forum doesn't have any activity (except spambot or spam activity) then I'm prone to calling it dead and walking away / removing their affiliate button from our forum.
But in most cases where forums make it to the 6 month mark this tends not to be an issue since by making it that far the admin has (generally) proven that they're willing to put the work in and make their forum succeed.
Q. Why won't you affiliate with blogs?
A. I don't affiliate with blogs because I find it somewhat difficult to track how active they are. And it doesn't benefit me to affiliate with an extremely slow or dead/dying site. (I know this sounds rather cold, but the goal of affiliation is for both parties to benefit... not just one. And I want to help improve my site.)
Q. Why won't you affiliate with websites?
A. I generally don't affiliate with websites because (like with blogs) they are extremely difficult to tell if they are getting any traffic. (And I want to know that they are getting some and not just sitting there dead.)
Plus in most cases website owners want to stick their affiliates on other pages. (Which drastically cuts down the number of views affiliate buttons get when they sit on another page. And that translates to fewer clicks on affiliate buttons.)
Q. How long does this affiliation last?
A. It lasts until one of us decides to remove the other's button. (I would hope at the very least a month, but could be much longer.)
Though be warned, I do often check on sites after a few days/a week to see if they still have our button up. (Just to prevent people from trying to screw me over to get some free advertising by saying they'll affiliate then taking our button down.) And I perform random checks after that.
