Affiliates

Do they work?

I seem to not get many people visit through affiliates here. Does anybody else have any success with getting members through affiliates?

No not really, I have had about 4 off the global affiliate but normal affiliates Ive hardly had any look!

I haven't used them yet.

I figure, I have a links section, that should be good enough. I don't put sites into said section unless I personally endorse them.

I don't currently plan on having an affiliates section. If our forum attracts visitors, great. If it doesn't, well, it was a fun experiment anyway.

Meh, I'm pretty blasé about the whole thing. 8)

Ive never been into doing the whole affiliate exchange thing. I never even look at affiliate sections on other forums either.

The whole Affiliate and Topsites idea has been dying off recently.

Nowadays you can get better results by joining other forums and advertising off your signature. Then you're only showing off your site and not theirs too.
