I really like the domain name, very simple & easy to remember, and it has a nice ring to it. A of all letters is a good one!

One thing I recommend is making your logo a bit stronger with the A more prominent.

Another small adjustment would be to reduce the amount of whitespace. You want to make sure you use your top-fold of the website very effectively to increase the number of clicks, and you can add more content to the top sections to maximize your conversions (on views, clicks, etc of content).

You can keep the ads, but you may find that you would actually have more views, return views, and clicks on ads if they are spread out a bit between content rather than stacked on top before content.

Thanks gizmo still a work in progress but I want to get feedback. Still trying to make it for only guests and be able to see once only on the index on the first visit and after it doesn’t show for a while unless of course cache/cookies are deleted from browser.

I recommend for the time being to use the web version option inside the hamburger button.

To further improve navigation and reduce excessive scrolling, our Link Directory Gallery has been relocated to a separate section. Additional updates and enhancements to the Link Directory are already planned and will continue rolling out.

We have also redesigned our topic listings with a more modern and cleaner card-based layout to improve browsing and presentation throughout the forum. More visual and usability improvements are on the way. If you encounter any bugs or issues, please report them here.

Dear AFamily,

Unfortunately, couple of nights ago while working on improving the topic experience, I ran into some issues with my code. I tried my best to restore everything back to normal, but too much damage had been done, and I was unable to fully reverse it.

Because of this, my only option was to perform a full forum backup and restore the forum back to May 11. This means that any updates, threads, or posts made after that date have been erased.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. I am currently working on restoring the guidelines, updates, and any other changes that were made to the forum after that date.

On a brighter note, I’m happy to announce a new improvement to the topic layout experience: members can now add their own post header, which works similarly to a signature. This can be done directly through your profile by adding an image link.

This feature is still in beta while I test which image dimensions work best. If you’d like to help, please try uploading an image to your profile so I can continue testing and improve the feature before removing it from beta.

I will try and find a solution. I have checked with a friend who has the iPhone 14 Pro and it doesn’t show. Hmmm very weird.


I’m continuing to improve the custom directory-style profile page experience for your content. A new quick reply comment section has now been added at the bottom of the page, giving it a cleaner blog/directory-style feel and making it easier for members to interact directly with each listing.
