It has been twenty long years since the disappearance of Darth Hawken. The Jedi have fallen into misuse as the Republic strengthened. Without any imminent threat, the Jedi were no longer needed as protectors and they began to wither away into the background, falling into the framework and serving as Holonet heroes and staples as dreams for children to pursue... Their Order shrank into almost non-existence, atrophying from within as the Republic's reins tightened. However, some true Jedi remain. Though few, these Knights and Masters work dutifully to progress the light and keep order in the galaxy. Even with their effort, only one Jedi Academy remains, led by possibly the smallest Council in the history of the Jedi Order. But these men and women fight bravely to preserve the teachings of their order. Yet their numbers continue to dwindle. Some fall to the dark side, seeking out the hidden Sith Empire with hopes and dreams of power, but others... they disappear. The diminutive Council can't even sense whether they are dead, fallen or cut off from the Force, wanting to be with families and loved ones. And so the Jedi are in the beaten ruins of a once great academy on a planet that has seen its fair share of war. A crumbling rock in the sea of life.​
