Nope, air rifle bullets are different. Take one of them to the head and you're a dead man ๐Ÿ˜› airsoft will just leave a nice mark ๐Ÿ˜›

Airsoft guns are regarded Air guns where I live.

Airsoft guns have to have an orange tip to show they are not real guns, air rifles are considered fire arms.

By air rifle, you mean like a Pellet Gun, they shoot little metal BB's?

We don't in my country, I'm happy because of that ๐Ÿ˜€

I've shot an air rifle before, was fun.

So in basic it's the same as a BB gun ๐Ÿ˜›
I have owned 3 + my brother owned one.

I know which I'd rather be shot with ๐Ÿ˜›

Ya depends on which type of "Air Gun"/"BB Gun" you get ๐Ÿ˜›
Mine uses small pellets still metal and it's just like the air gun you showed.
I used to shoot cans with it.

I have one! I use it to shoot cans all the time. I need to buy new pellets though.

Not true, most you will feel is like a very bad bee sting, a .22 pellet can break the skin and cause a scratch.

A .177 pellet will hardly break the skin, and will feel like a fly hitting you when you are cycling fast.

Airguns are not classed as firearms, you do not need a licence to hold one, you just have to be over 16 I think.

Firearms in the UK have to be kept in a locked cabinet, the ammunition has to be kept in a separate locked cabinet away from the rifle or shotgun.

Not firearms? Police officer told me different the other day ๐Ÿ˜›

An airgun is not a fire arm, the policeman doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.

By it's own definition a firearm is one that needs fire or an explosion to expel the projectile, the word firearm comes from the time when a lit fuse was used to fire the musketball, that is also where we get the term "flash in the pan from"

As you are from the UK, I'm surprised you weren't taught all this in history lessons, bu then again, as you are the same age my son you were probably taught more about the history of India than Great Britain.
