I think I just installed the Akismet key (for the Akismet plugin) on my MyBB forum.

How can I make sure that it is set up successfully?

After activating the plugin, go under Settings and look for Akismet setting and configure it.

Just put as default integer. You might not want the spammer to spam a lot until before he is banned.
