The space ship Covenant is bound for a distant planet outside the galaxy. It encounters a synthetic being that came from the Prometheus which was on a previous space expedition. Reaching the planet of destination, they find life that is hostile to them and their existence is being threatened. The synthetic being named David is played by Michael Fasbender with able support from Katherine Waterston and Danny McBride.
