Most mobile apps automatically don't show signatures on forums and then there are members who choose it as a preference to not see signatures.
So, what if a member creates a fake signature which is what he would normally show as a signature, but it's actually the end of his post? It's easy to copy and paste something you've already got set up in a file on your computer.
No, and I find it easy to spot them because whatever they use to try and divide it from their post content doesn't match the divider for real signatures.
I've never noticed anything like that before but my eye tends to seek out content and ignore pretty much everything else so it's probably something I've encountered but not really seen if that makes sense.
We allow signatures but we never look into what their signatures are about Xd, don't even come to my brain regards fake signatures. I look at the content rather than what their signatures are. But in some cases, I doubt I need to worry about it with the group of members since they are not that in clink.
I don't think I've ever seen this before on any forum... Perhaps I have in the past but just skimmed over it just thinking it was part of their post. I don't think I'd allow this though, if they want to add something to their signature that's where it should go and of course as long as it follows the global forum rules it's fine.
