We've been working continuously non-stop for the past few months on a new service which is AlphaBoards. It has been a delayed service for many years, and recently we've found the last piece (in our case a server/database technician) to make it work.
AlphaBoards is a free Forum Hosting website for all the little new webmasters to start-up with the forum and make their dreams come true, we provide wide range of facilities to our customers and also excellent support and that everything for free of cost!
We’ve been willing to do this for many years and since the decline in both forum hosts and the general forum decline, we want to make a new service / offer a new home for fellow webmasters to enjoy their community and get help from fellow (experienced) webmasters in making their community work. We want to be your premier forum host in the long run!
Main features of AlphaBoards below:-
- We are running on MyBB 1.8.29, heavily modified, security enhancements, all maintained completely free.
- Unlimited Bandwidth.
- No limits on the number of member, posts, threads etc...
- Excellent & Quick support whenever you are in trouble.
- You can also use custom top level domain.
- All the headache of forum installation is managed by us.
- Up to date pre-installed plugins and themes after testing for bug-free, errors and faults.
- Abillity to request more pre-installed plugins and themes.
- All forums will be updated as the MyBB software updates - as well as all plugins and themes.
- Main website will feature random forums in header as advertising bonus.
- Support forum will also act as an official marketplace to sell/buy anything web-related, strongly moderated so no rip off's can happen.
We are currently looking for fellow webmasters that want to build their community on MyBB but don't want to spend funds on either hosting and/or a domain. You can sign up a free forum with us, while we are still building our website and content before we're actually done with the complete service. AlphaBoards is aiming for a small but tight community with fellow webmasters among us. Where we help each other building a forum and community. We also don't plan on leaving you in the dark quite soon. We're investing a lot of money in a VPS, and custom coding to make this work.
All registered webmasters can help us test the server and service in a 'beta' - phase. But please, only apply when you want to build a serious forum. All registered forums will be under a subdomain 'forumname'.alphaboards with the abillity to park a custom domain, or win a free domain through the support forum.

If you have an existing community, you can bring your database and import it to an AlphaBoards forum, so no content will be lost.
