Am I doing Everything Right

Hey there I recently purchased a website called skeptic thinkers from a guy with the Username Flames of Glory. I purchased a new URL and am building a news/political website. http://bournetimes.com My last name is Bourne. Is that too hard to remember for you average person? Any other suggestions?

I like your domain, the word 'times' represents a blog/news/reporting niche as such, and Bourne is your name, it's pretty easy to remember and a nice domain in my opinion.

You'll be fine.
I can remember drudge report, Bloomberg, and a bunch of other sites with different names.

Only thing is though, for SEO your domain isn't ideal.

When I work with small businesses I generally steer them away from thinking within their own brain. It's super common for people to want to incorporate their name into their businesses name, but the reality is that you have to think objectively, as a consumer.

You can certainly make Bourne Times work. It's not a scenario of "that's terrible". With quality content and a solid draw, the page will be easy to recall. That being said, you could go another direction if you desire.

The domain name seems fine and like others have mentioned using "times" does make that newspaper connection.

Just got to churn out the content now.

Looks to me as if you are heading in the right direction, and the name is really easy to remember my friend your lucky your share the same name as serious of movies with the same name.

Good luck with this venture although i don't think your going to need t, well done.
