Am I the only one who enjoy forum drama?

I can never get enough of watching people struggle, argue, and fight for power on forums. I'm guilty of it as well, but that doesn't change the smile that creeps over my face while reading posts that have to do with it.

So here is a topic where you can post all the 'forum drama' you've seen in your day. Because real world drama just isn't enough.

Speaking of drama, I know of some total losers, that made a "spoof forum" of mine... To make it look like all my friends were half as retarded as them... I have truely met some sad ppl.. That's one reason why, when forums have friend/foe things, and ya can always delete... What good is it, "hey, lets ban someoen productive to the forum" lol

haha, i do enjoy watching it, you aren't alone. on a friend's forum that's kind of in the toilette already, i say comments tat are not for or against anything in particular and this one girl blows up 'cause i'm not agreeing with her. positively hilarious in a way.

...or maybe i'm just rather sadistic.

Personally, I think it keeps things interesting.

As an Administrator, however, you have to keep things under control or you'll lose members and reputation.

As Ging said, it is amusing, but if you have a-holes on your forum that put people down and start stuff then you should ban them because your reputation for running a clean, friendly environment goes down the drain.

I don't like forum drama. It will usually cause me to move on from that particular forum if it's constant and the staff don't seem to be doing anything about.

Forum drama and flame wars are awesome. Very entertaining. Was involved in & watched a lot at a popular gaming board (millions of posts, threads, members, etc.)

For the most part I like reading all of the drama to be honest. But it does get annoying to some extent and will cross the line in some ways.

It's funny, and I think drama is always something to liven up the community. It would be boring just posting topics, drama and debates is something that make people post back and actually make posts that are contributing to their topic, and flame wars, as funny and entertaining that they may be, I do not think they should be allowed. 😛

Forum drama is funny and amusing, I don't see a reason to remove all the drama unless it gets out of hand, you always need that "class clown" sort of thing to keep things fun and lively and not boring and repetitive. 😛
