If you could see into the future, or look into the past, which would you choose and why?

In the TV series Dad's Army, what was Captain Mainwaring's first name? George.

Where did you go?

I travelled to Skegness, and it was very, very stormy. There are videos on YouTube that I recorded during the storm.

I'm going generic, how's things in general? 😀

Things are simultaneously good and bad. I'm now studying a degree, but I'm also constantly in and out of hospital.

How have you been?

Have you ever played at an arcade?

Yes.

If you were given a PhD degree, but had no more knowledge of the subject of the degree besides what you have now, what degree would you want to be given to you?

Microelectronic engineering.

If you could see into the future, or look into the past, which would you choose and why?

I would look into the future because I am eager to see where I will be, and who I will be with. It would also be nice to go farther into the future to check out what our space exploration accomplishments will bring us.

Huh?

last items that you brought

That would have to be two 2 L bottles of Pepsi, for £2.50 each. This sugar tax thing was a stupid idea. In terms of electronics, it was an electronic digital caliper and a new USB drive.

what was your most expensive item that you brought

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future?

@DylRicho Do you prefer to purchase a computer or build one from scratch?

I definitely build my own. There isn't any way I'm wasting my money on prebuilds, whether they be laptops or desktops.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future?

I would like to ask about;
  • how humanity progressively improves by working together, and not fighting each other
  • the future fate of Earth
  • what our space travel situation is like 200 years from now

What can I do to change your opinion of me?

That would have to be two 2 L bottles of Pepsi, for £2.50 each. This sugar tax thing was a stupid idea.

Damn, that's pricy. I can get a 2 liter of Pepsi for $1.00 USD here.

What was the last situation where some weird stuff went down and everyone acted like it was normal, and you weren’t sure if you were crazy or everyone around you was crazy?

What would be the hat to end all hats? What could you wear on your head that would make people stop what they are doing and stare in awe and amazement?

Whats the most frightening thing you've seen/experienced in person?

Without a doubt, it would have to be this.

I was 9 years old at the time, with almost a front-row seat of the incident. Fortunately, there was a traffic queue, which meant that I was out of harm's way, but I witnessed the accident with my own eyes. Not the kind of thing you want to see at that age (or any age, really).

Like to walk or run

I like to go out on long walks. With periodic rests, or I will end up in the back of an ambulance.

Running is a no-go for me. Body can't handle it.

What can I do to change your opinion of me?

Stop being a noob.

What part of a kid’s movie completely scarred you?

Pretty much most Disney movies. They always have something that shouldn't really be aimed at children.

What was the last situation where some weird stuff went down and everyone acted like it was normal, and you weren’t sure if you were crazy or everyone around you was crazy?

I can't think of such a very specific scenario.

@DylRicho What was your favorite book as a child and why?

I've never been a fan of fiction. Very much a nonfiction person.

What would be the hat to end all hats? What could you wear on your head that would make people stop what they are doing and stare in awe and amazement?

An RGB hat with so many LEDs that it pierces the retinas of those you meet on the sidewalks.

Question 12: What’s the closest thing to real magic?
