Have y'all seen the Amazon Echo? Pretty cool device 😀

It's a device that will listen for you to give it commands verbally, like "Alexa, play Green Day," or "Alexa, start a timer for 10 minutes." Kind of like Siri, but listening all the time.

I have one of these, but haven't used it too much. Still pretty cool though 😀

I've recently been using this a lot more, and have really come to enjoy it. Particularly for audible audio books. I can tell it to start playing my current audiobook by saying "Alexa, Read Words of Radiance" when I'm in the same room, and it will sync the current reading location from Audible and then start reading. I can also tell it "Alexa, volume 5" to adjust the volume, and "Alexa, pause" to play or pause the playback. Very useful! 😀

I've seen this advertised but I never thought about getting one myself. I can't imagine I'd used it that often. It does sound really cool though. 🙂
