Amy Winehouse is dead

Tragic lose in terms of musical talent but she has had issues since she first came to fame in 2003 and it was going to happen sooner or later, the addiction got too much.

Hopefully she has found peace at last from her demons.

Over 92 people dead in Oslo and who cares? Come on guys; this woman had it coming to her, why are we grieving her over the people in a terrorist attack who didn't take their own lives?

Just because she had it coming doesnt mean it shouldnt be acknowledge it. Just because thousands of innocent people died in the wars, doesnt mean we shouldnt acknowledge soldiers.

We should acknowledge it, but not pay any more regard towards it simply because she was famous. Morally at least - psychologically, humans are always going to obsess over individuals and this is a prime example; no doubt people will be far more sad about this than any deaths of a large group of normal people as you and me who are clearly inferior. Do we acknowledge the death of Bob's aunt Susan who died last Tuesday? No. Do we need to continually say RIP, so much talent wasted, etc. when the same thing happens everyday to people who didn't slowly kill themselves?

From that wiki page:
Les Harvey May 3, 1972 Electrocution by live microphone after touching it with his wet hands. Guitarist for Stone the Crows.

What a way to die lol

I completely understand what you are saying, she had it coming. I am not even a big amy winehouse fan, my friends aunt just died and I am paying more attention to that. Of course humans will always obsess over their idols, elvis died at the same time as a legend of comedy (groucho marx) but because elvis was more famous, nobody paid any attention to groucho, nor the other thousands of people who died that week 🙁

-- July 23rd, 2011, 8:32 pm --

Yeah, the saddest is jimi hendrix's death, he choked on his own vomit

Personally I did not like Amy Winehouse.
But still, rest in peace.
She was too young to die. 🙁

Nevertheless I have to say she had it coming! 😕

Bai! Cya later.

No really. She was a good singer. RIP

RIP, nothing compared to what happened in norway though.

Sad when someone kills themselves though.
