It is all good information and I would recommend watching as much of the material as you can over time, doing so will give you a simple outlook on SEO and you will be able to condense all of the information into some simple strategies.
I have seen people searching far and wide for tips on SEO and wondering what it is all about, some people get confused and after studying how SEO works for over 3 years I have learned that it basically comes down to 3 key principles:
Keywords
Quality Content
Consistency In Creating Quality Content.
To be honest you can sum it all up in just those 3. Don't over complicate it in your head.
Don't try to cheat by spamming or producing low quality content.
In SEO think QUALITY not QUANTITY.
Over time you will achieve good results if you create content consistently with the intention of providing value. But you must do your keyword research also.
NEVER duplicate your own work, this is shooting yourself in the foot, if you create an awesome Blog and then distribute that same Blog to several places then this is actually BAD for you, all of your content should be as unique as possible, a few copies here and there won't make much of a difference but if you consistently make lots of copy's of your content then the Google spiders will treat you like a spammer!
Do NOT be tempted by article spinning, it is BS and it is spam. It's actually easier and more FULFILLING to just create quality content, take pride in your work.
